Puppy ID Bands

Multi-Colored Collars for Newborn Puppies

___________________________________________________________________

Breeders and dog lovers from around the world love using our litter identification collars for their newborn puppies. The colorful velcro bands can be placed on the puppies as they are whelped, as infants, to give them immediate identity among their litter mates.

Newborn puppy care involves planning and early preparation for the special day.  It is important to have all the necessary pet supplies needed for whelping puppies.  Unless you are an experienced breeder, you might not know how to care for newborn puppies or which whelping supplies are needed.

Often times, a litter of puppies can look identical to each other so it is important to have some way to tell the puppies apart.  Dog breeders have been known to use different ways to ID puppies, such as spray paint, nail polish, ribbons, etc.  Now finally there is an easy way to identify newborn puppies without strings or hassle.
Each puppy simply wears a different colored collar to separate him from his litter mates.

Puppy ID Bands will eliminate all confusion about which puppy is which. As soon as the pups are born they can be identified by the color they are wearing. Keeping logs on birth order, gender, size, weight gain, feeding times and specific comments about each puppy could not be easier.

Communication about the puppies is greatly simplified between the breeder and new prospective puppy owners. Soon after the puppies start wearing their collars, they will likely be referred to as  “the green collar male”, or “the pink collar female”, making it easy to identify any particular puppy in a photograph or puppy ad.

Puppy ID Bands come in a set of 12 different colors.  They simply wrap around the puppy's neck to the exact size needed and the velcro® attaches to itself.  The bands are easy to adjust as the puppies grow.

The puppies will also become accustomed to wearing a collar from Day 1 which allows an easier transition to using a typical dog collar at 6-8 weeks.
